The company claims that for a modest price, the software will give healthcare providers a key advantage in a radically changing healthcare field. In addition, the Softheon Marketplace Connector Cloud (MC2), another software the company is providing, allows providers to set up a configurable integration platform to handle all healthcare-related IT and business processing.

All of this software can be configured and up-and-running before the start of the November open enrollment date under PPACA.

The software can handle PPACA tasks such as state and federal marketplace integration, direct enrollment, premium billing, edge server, and private exchanges. The software is also fully capable of being integrated with carrier core systems such as TriZetto Facets, QNXT, DST Amisys, HealthEdge, ikaSystems, and EPIC Tapestry.

There are over 834 intake and payment reconciliation options to consider under PPACA, and Softheon, Inc. has a track record of successfully integrating healthcare providers with PPACA standards. Last year, for example, Softheon, Inc. successfully helped several of its provider clients in Nevada and Oregon. The company was able to complete the process within 30 days.

The MC2 software is already being used in all 50 states for federal, state, and private exchange integration platforms. Nearly 10% of all Americans who used federal or state-mandated plans use MC2 for services such as premium billing and enrollment.

Electronic processing of healthcare claims and enrollment (among other services) is rising in use. A 2012 study, for example, found that 70% of all providers receive some kind of electronic payment.
